The electric roof bed is blocked:

1. In the technibox, check that the 20 amp fuse (bulb symbol) that controls raising and lowering the bed is not blown. Emergency fuses are available in the accessories supplied. On your return, put the changed fuse in the spare case for replacement. If you don't have a spare fuse, you can buy one at petrol stations, supermarkets or specialist car shops.
   
    
2. Check that blankets/pillows/bags/clothes are not blocking the rise of the bed, causing the fuse to blow again.

You have no or no more electricity at the 220v sockets in the cell:

1. The 220V sockets only work if the motorhome is connected to the mains.
2. Check the power supply to the socket by plugging an appliance directly into it (e.g. telephone charger).
3. Check that the extension lead supplied has not been accidentally damaged (e.g. borrowing one from a motorhome-owning neighbour).

If you don't have any hot water in your vehicle, here are a few things to check:

1. The water heater will not work if there is no gas, no water or if combustion gases are able to enter the motorhome. The red light indicates a fault.
2. Check on the panel that the fresh water supply is not empty.
3. Check that the gas bottle is not empty or closed: by switching on the gas cooker, by weighing the gas bottle.
4. Turn the water heater off and on again.
5. If you have no hot water in a Mac Louis camper van or a Chausson/Challenger van: check whether a window (bedroom/kitchen) is directly above the flue gas outlet, in which case it is fitted with a safety switch. The water heater will not work if the window is open. You can put a wedge between the contactor and the window so that the contactor fits into the box.

Finally, if, despite all these operations, you still have no hot water, it may be that the Truma chimney cover has not been removed. You need to remove it (by pressing on the top of the cover and tilting the bottom of the cover upwards), as it prevents the burnt gases from escaping, so for safety's sake, the water heater will not start up if the cover is present.

In the shower room :

1. The Light switch in the shower room is very small and is located alongside the washbasin. If it's off, the toilet won't flush.
2. The toilet won't flush if the black water cassette is full.
3. If the flush trap doesn't open (or doesn't open properly, or doesn't open all the way), the cassette isn't engaged properly. You need to go outside the motorhome, take the cassette out and put it back in place.

To lock the motorhome cell door, when you close it from the outside, press down on the door at the same time, where the lock is. This will engage the lock and allow you to close all the motorhome doors using the central locking system.
If you're closing from the inside, you'll need to pull the door towards you to achieve the same result.

The technibox is the motorhome's technical compartment. It is located in a hatch on the outside of the motorhome. Usually to the left of the entrance door when you get out of the motorhome. The technibox contains the electricity and clean water. This is where you'll find the fuse holder if you need to change a blown fuse, and it's also where you'll fill up with clean water.
