Are motorhomes fitted with the Isofix system?
Most of our motorhomes are equipped with the Isofix system. However, the Family Overcab (C) and the Campervans (G, F and F') do not have this system.
For these models, a car seat compatible with the 3-point seatbelt must be used. You can hire one (see options page).
In France, all children under the age of 10 must be restrained by an approved restraint system adapted to their body shape.
Are bunk beds or high beds fitted with fall protection nets?
Yes, all our high beds, such as the top bed of bunk beds or roof beds, are equipped with fall protection nets to ensure the safety of passengers, especially children.
By default, these safety nets are stored under the mattresses and can be easily installed before use.
Which motorhomes can I hire for 5 people?

I have taken out Medium or Premium multi-risk coverages, how much will my deposit be?
The deposit will always be €2,500, regardless of the level of cover taken out. However, the excess will be €1,600 with Medium multi-risk coverage and €990 with Premium multi-risk coverage.
Is insurance included?
Because anything can happen, Hertz Trois Soleils includes Basic Multi-risk cover in all its contracts. With this package, you benefit from :
- Hertz Trois Soleils tele-assistance for cell equipment on 04 75 82 02 02
- airframe manufacturer's warranty
- carrier manufacturer's warranty
- maximum liability in the event of a claim (€2,500)
For maximum peace of mind when travelling, consider taking out the optional Multi-risk Medium or Premium additional cover. Depending on the package, this includes: a partial excess buy-back, glass breakage insurance, 24/7 repatriation assistance and puncture insurance. Find out more on our Coverages and assistance page.

Do I need to create an account to book?
Yes, bookings can be made exclusively online on our website. To finalize your rental, you will need to create a personal account with your email address.
Creating an account is quick and easy: simply enter your email address, a password, as well as your first and last name, address, telephone number, and date of birth.
Your account will then allow you to track your reservation, pay your balance, add options, submit necessary documents (such as your driver's license), and access all the information you need about your rental at any time.
What type of driver's licence do we need to drive a motorhome?
To hire one of our vehicles, you must have held your driving licence for at least 3 years.
What time should I return my vehicle?
You chose your return day and time when you booked. If you have forgotten it, it is written on your rental contract. Make sure you respect it, as a penalty of €300 will be applied for any delay of more than one hour.
When do I pay for my rental?
At the time of booking you must either pay the total amount of your rental, or pay a deposit of 30% if your departure is in more than one month. Your booking must be paid in full one month before your departure.
I've never rented a motorhome before. Will someone explain how it works before I leave?
Before you leave, we recommend that you watch the "Get starded with your motorhome" video. It will explain how to use a motorhome.
On the day of departure, a technician will take you around the vehicle to show you how it works. This takes about 30 minutes.
