Am I insured against theft?
By taking out Medium or Premium coverage, you can benefit from a partial or total excess buy-back in the event of a break-in.

How do I know if my booking has been taken into account?
All bookings made on our site automatically generate a confirmation which you receive by e-mail. If you have not received it, please check your spam folder.
Once you have booked, we will contact you by telephone to let you know that we have received your booking.
What mileage is included in my rental?
At Hertz Trois Soleils, in high season (5 July to 29 August 2025), unlimited mileage is FREE!
The rest of the year, 150 km/day are included in our basic prices and you can choose a 200 km/day package or unlimited mileage as an option.
For limited mileage packages, the excess kilometre is charged at €0.55.
Is it possible to pick up a motorhome from one agency and return it to another?
As each agency manages its own fleet of vehicles, you will have to return the motorhome to your departure agency.
It is not possible to return the vehicle to an agency other than the one where you rented it.
Do I have to be responsible for emptying the waste water?
You must return the vehicle once the grey water and black water (toilet cassette) have been drained.
Where can I stop with my motorhome?
In France, motorhomes may be parked wherever conventional vehicles may be parked, as long as no external equipment (awnings, steps, wedges, etc.) is installed. Any restrictions are always indicated by the local authorities.
For your overnight stops, we recommend that you opt for safe and suitable places, such as :
- Campsites, which often offer additional services (electricity, sanitary facilities, etc.)
- Motorhome parking or service areas, specially designed for leisure vehicles.
Avoid sleeping at motorway service areas for safety reasons.
To plan your stops, you can consult specialised websites or use mobile applications such as Caramaps, where other travellers share recommended places to spend the night.

How my motorhome will be fitted out?
You'll find a plan of the vehicle on its presentation sheet. All the fittings are different, but you will always find on board :
- a shower
- a chemical toilet
- a fridge
- a gas hob,
- a sink
- a washbasin
- a stationary heating.
When and how can I add options?
You can add options to your booking up to 3 days before departure.
Via your personal space, you can, up to 72 hours before departure and free of charge:
- increase your mileage allowance and/or your level of multi-risk coverages;
- add destinations;
- add extra drivers;
- add optional services or equipment (crockery kit, bedding kit, bicycle rack, etc.) subject to availability.
For any other changes (dates, times, category of motorhome, departure agencie) or requests less than 72 hours in advance, please contact the reservations department on 04.75.82.02.02 / reserv@trois-soleils.com, €108 administration fee may apply (see article 6.3 Modifications of our General Terms and Conditions).
Can I change my level of cover before departure?
You can upgrade to the Medium or Premium coverages using your personal online space up to 72 hours before your departure.
Within 72 hours of your departure, you will need to contact central booking, charges will apply for any last minute changes.
How to pay by bank wire transfer?
For all bookings made with a departure of more than 10 days, at the payment stage, you can choose to pay by bank transfer. The bank details of Hertz Trois Soleils will be displayed and you will be able to pay for your booking via your bank account.
Please indicate your contract number in the wording of your transfer to make it easier to identify your payment.
